Designer Outlet Hautmont


A new outlet village in Northern France attracting shoppers from Lille, Saint Quentin, Charleville- Mézière in France, and Charleroi, Kortrijk and Brussels in Belgium.

Hautmont is located in the department Nord of France, perfectly situated between Lille, Saint Quentin, and Charleville-Mézières which, after Paris, is the most populated region of France. The Belgian border is only 17km away and the 90 minutes catchment includes Charleroi, Kortrijk and Brussels in Belgium. The catchment has over 8.2 million inhabitants within 90 minutes drive time.

Hautmont Outlet Village will enrich the region with a new shopping experience with approximately 120 boutiques and a gross lettable area of 20,000 sqm, to be opened in two phases. The unique architecture is inspired by the region and will be a sustainable premium village architecture in compliance with BREEAM building standards.

Hautmont is an established shopping destination for French and Belgian customers with a full-price shopping centre Aushopping,an Auchan Hypermarket, a Decathlon, a Leroy Merlin DIY store and many more. This commercial zone already attracts around 9 million customers per year.

This unique project will be developed by JMP Expansion in cooperation with ROS Retail Outlet Shopping as centre managers. Phase I is scheduled to open in 2021.


The category and brand mix of Hautmont Outlet Village is adapted to the region and proximity to Belgium. Fashion will be the main driver with close to 50 %, of space, followed by Sport & Outdoor brands and Shoes & Leather products. Lifestyle & Design products will represent 10 %. Food and Flemish delicacies will be on offer given the strong Belgian customer profile. Food and beverage will be provided by local cafés and restaurants.
